Carl...yes I do make these....What I do is buy regular straw hats...most of the time the color is that tan natural straw look. There's a place here where I can buy a quantity for cheap and then I airbrush them, customize the colors...make some look beat and ratty. It takes some time to get it just right, not to mention if I'm going to actually airbrush something on them...or just getting an idea and finding something cool for the hat-band or a patch or anything that I'll be putting on that hat.

Cool stuff then man! I don't wear cowboy hats (or any hats anymore now that I have come to terms with my natural look), and $75 is a bit high to support a bud for me right now. But if I hear of anybody looking for one, I'll send them your way.

Actually, if you can do a little girls size, of that sort, and if the price were lower, I have been looking for one for my daughter, just like those.

Okay...Let me explain.

It's not all about painting the straw-hat.
It's about me buying the items to make it... especially the paint that is meant for use for this kinda of deal. It's about my time painting and making the hat to look tattered and worn till it looks just right. It's about me looking for just the right hat-band...which on this one I went to a shop and bought antique-wooden wheel-beads(not cheap) and all sterling-silver ornaments(not cheap) containing only 5 per bag, in which I bought 4. Add all that all together...and BAM!!! $75 doesn't sound like so much to ask for.
